Oxford Botanic Garden
I was contacted by the folks at Oxford Botanic Garden after they spotted my map mural at Leamington Train Station. They were about to host an event celebrating the creation of the Vice Chancellor’s Guild and asked if I could create an illustrated version of their scientific, botanical map. I jumped at the chance as I love gardens, illustration and maps. It felt like a perfect commission. Working closely with Sarah I developed a map that would highlight some favourite features within the garden including Lyra’s bench, the Physic Rose and Leis Carroll’s Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. As always, I offer rounds of revisions to make sure the design best suits your needs. Read the testimonial below to see what the team thought of the final design.

A huge thank you for all your work on this project. It’s been such a pleasure working with you. I enjoyed our creative journey with the map, and your relaxed approach made managing this part of my event a real dream. From start to finish, you’ve caught the vision for what we wanted and delivered it in a really fuss-free and focussed way. I am so delighted that spotting your artwork in Leamington Spa station lead to working with you to make my own map idea a reality - our guests are going to love it!” - Sarah Bedford Senior Events Manager
